VV presents; SHOW YOUR FACE @ Cultivate, Vyner Street, E2 9HA

Private View: Thursday 26th of January from 6pm – 9pm

Exhbition from: Friday 27th of January until Wednesday 1st of February

“I paint self-portraits because I am so often alone, because I am the person I know best.” Frida Kahlo (1907 – 1954)

VV provides a platform for emerging female fine artists as they are a highly underrepresented and an often over-looked group.

Our 2012 members showcase exhibition is therefore centered on the theme-the self portrait. In so doing we have curated a show that is not only breathtakingly beautiful; but which also examines the way in which female artists perceive themselves, and the darker undertones therein.

We cordially invite you to also come and SHOW YOUR FACE at the private view between 6pm and 9pm on the 26th January 2012.

Or if you can make the opening night, then from Friday 27th Jan until Wednesday 1st Feb, 11.30am until 6pm.
