Ladyfest Ten: Festival Dates Announced!

As you know Storm in a Teacup have been involved in organising fundraisers for Ladyfest Ten and we are also on the programming team for the festival. We are all very, very busy and very, very excited about being a part of this years 10 year anniversary celebration. So with great pleasure we are excited to reveal festival dates and venues for Ladyfest Ten!

12th/13th/14th November 2010, Highbury Corner, London.

Ladyfest, the global festival promoting and celebrating women’s creativity and counter-culture, turns 10 years old this year. To commemorate a decade of Ladyfests in cities across the world including Brisbane, Olympia, Singapore, Jakarta, San Paolo and New Orleans, Ladyfest Tenaims to be the biggest and best yet.
Taking place across various North London venues including The Relentless Garage from Friday 12th November until Sunday 14th, Ladyfest Ten will feature an audience of more than 3,000 people attending an exciting and diverse programme of female-fronted music, arts, film, literature, comedy, craft, workshops and sport.

Ladyfest Ten will involve iconic musicians, artists and authors alongside the best unsigned bands and upcoming women from every artistic field. Confirmed acts and ticketing details will be broadcast in July, but for further updates in the meantime, keep an eye the Ladyfest ten, Website, Facebook and Twitter pages.

A independent non-profit festival, Ladyfest Ten is coordinated by a collective of volunteers, and always needs extra pairs of hands! Whether you’re a DJ, dancer, artist, activist or author, or just want to get involved with helping to coordinate Ladyfest Ten, we’d love to hear from you. For further info and to get in touch, please see the Ladyfest Ten Contact page.
