Verity was originally asked by YARN to interpret a story from Stuart Evers’ debut short story collection ‘Ten Stories about Smoking’ back in February 2011. YARN is a festival celebrating story and storytelling – showcasing film, theatre, music, illustration and literature and providing a platform for mixing them all up! It’s all about fun and exploration, devoted to letting the imagination run wild. Join us for a very special presentation of Stuart Evers’ ‘Ten Stories About Smoking’. See the collection interpreted into illustration, music and spoken word by artists including Verity Flecknell, Camila Fiori, Chimene Suleyman, Jarred McGinnis and Jo Spencer. In partnership with Picador.
